Entering a new season in both life and career, award-winning dancer, choreographer, actress, presenter, entrepreneur, and creative director Bontle Moloi, affectionately known to many as Bontle Modiselle, officially begins a new management chapter with Golden Thread African Agency (GTAA).
While audiences have long known her as Bontle Modiselle, this new chapter also sees her professionally embracing her married surname, Bontle Moloi, a reflection of both personal growth and an exciting new season in her career.
This transition follows a collaborative handover between Stay Low and GTAA, whose teams have worked closely together over the past few months to ensure continuity for clients, partners and, most importantly, Bontle herself.
Reflecting on the journey, Dale De Ruig, Managing Director of Stay Low, says the transition marks the close of a remarkable chapter.
“Representing Bontle has been one of the great privileges for our team. Over the years, we’ve witnessed her evolve into one of South Africa’s most respected creative forces, while remaining grounded in purpose, family and excellence. We’re incredibly proud of everything we’ve built together and leave this chapter with immense gratitude. We believe Golden Thread African Agency is well positioned to continue the incredible work ahead, and we wish both Bontle and the GTAA team every success as they begin this next chapter.”
During her time under Stay Low’s management, Bontle continued to cement her place as one of South Africa’s most influential creative talents.
Her career reached new heights through landmark television productions, major brand partnerships, international opportunities, the launch of the Bontle Moloi Dance Studio, and the continued growth of her work as a performer, choreographer, businesswoman and cultural leader.
Rather than a traditional management transition, GTAA and Stay Low have spent the past few months working collaboratively to ensure a seamless handover, delivering campaigns and opportunities including the Adidas Bafana Bafana FIFA World Cup campaign, Vanish, Maybelline, and Bontle’s attendance at the international premiere of the Michael biopic in Berlin, together with its South African premiere.

For Sibu Mabena, Founder of Golden Thread African Agency, the transition represents far more than a change in representation.
“Careers like Bontle’s are built over many years by people who believe in the artist. Stay Low has played an important role in shaping the remarkable career she has today, and we’re grateful for the professionalism they’ve shown throughout this transition. We receive the baton with humility, and our commitment is to honour what’s been built while helping Bontle reach even greater heights in the years ahead.”
Looking ahead, Bontle says she is excited by the opportunities this new chapter presents and the chance to continue building work that reflects her purpose and passion.
“Every chapter of my journey has helped shape the woman, artist and entrepreneur I am today. I’m deeply grateful for everything we’ve built over the years and for everyone who has contributed to that journey. I’m equally excited about this next chapter with Golden Thread African Agency and everything we will create together. This is a season of growth, purpose and possibility, and I can’t wait to continue building meaningful work that inspires people across Africa and beyond.”
As Golden Thread African Agency officially assumes management responsibilities, Bontle continues to be available for brand partnerships, ambassadorships, television and presenting opportunities, choreography, creative direction, speaking engagements and entrepreneurial collaborations.
