The duo created FOMO when they announced their collab album and fueled it by hiding features until release day. The “We Don’t Trust You” hip-hop album caught global attention on its first day, especially “Like That” with Kendrick Lamar dissing J. Cole and Drake.

“Like That” Breaking Records

Future, Metro Boomin, and Kendrick Lamar’s “Like That” debuted at no. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart in its first week making this Future and Kendrick Lamar’s third Hot 100 no. 1 record, while it’s Metro Boomin’s first no. 1 record as a recording artist.

“Like That” drew 59.6 million streams and 5.6 million radio airplay audience impressions and sold 9,000 in its first week, ending March 28, according to Luminate.

Despite Future and Drake’s prior teaming, Kendrick Lamar threw several volleys, suggestively targeting Drake and J. Cole on “Like That,” which helped fuel the song’s buzz.
