It’s not every day in Mzansi that we hear that an ex-husband is demanding spousal support after divorce, in more cases than less it’s usual that the ex-wife making such as demand which is why Mzansi has been in shock upon hearing that Quinton Jones is demanding 10K per month from his ex-wife and baby mama, Minnie Dlamini.

One of Mzansi’s favorite celebrity couples during their happiest times, Quinton Jones and Minnie Dlamini announced their divorce in February 2022, 5 years later after their big and world-class wedding in 2017.
The couple’s divorce was a sad moment for Mzansi who believed their marriage was perfect and they would be spending the rest of their lives together. They even gave us a 3-part series of their marriage titled ‘Becoming Mrs. Jones’ which was a big hit when it was released on Showmax.
Earlier this year, in an interview with 702 presenter Relebogile Mabotja during her afternoon talk show, TV presenter and actor, Minnie Dlamini said she could not live the best version of herself while married to Quinton Jones when asked about her failed marriage.
Minnie Dlamini Cheating
Sometime in 2022, a few months after announcing their divorce, allegations broke on social media that the couple was getting divorced as a result of Minnie Dlamini being unfaithful and cheating on her husband but the pair quickly released a joint statement discarding these allegations.
Ever since then, there has been no drama as they said they were close to reaching a fair divorce settlement until more than a year later, in September 2023, when news broke that the divorce settlement had taken a drastic turn. Mr Jones is demanding monthly spousal maintenance of R10,000 per month.
Quinton Jones Demands
According to sources close to the pair, Minnie has expressed concerns that Jones is attempting to paint her as an unfit mother and even making claims to her house, despite never having contributed financially.
It is alleged that Jones does not only want the monthly spousal support but full custody of their child and also maintenance of that child should he end up getting the full custody.
In a recent interview on Metro FM, Minnie avoided speaking about this new drama that’s heavily publicized online and just said she believes in marriage and would get married again if she gets another chance.
