Released in January 2024, one of the much anticipated movies on Netflix starring Kevin Hart, Gugu Mbatha-Raw and Sam Worthington. Lift follows a master thief and his Interpol Agent ex-girlfriend who team up to steal $500 million in gold bullion being transported on an A380 passenger flight.

Although the movie was highly anticipated mainly because of Kevin Hart, looking at the ratings and comments across digital platforms, the majority say it’s bad. Kevin has been the only actor getting back lash for his poor performance as a lead actor while the storyline is said to be typical and predictable.
