Following the massive success of last year’s sold-out event, multiple award-winning South African DJ and music producer Oskido is excited to officially announce the return of his lifestyle festival BIG DAY OUT, set to take place in November.
Back with more beats, more flavour and even more vibe, BIG DAY OUT 2025 promises to build on last year’s unforgettable experience by once again bringing together the best of SA music, food and, of course, culture.
Set in the heart of Johannesburg, the festival will be a vibrant fusion of heritage and modernity, showcasing legendary artists, the hottest current acts, paired with a culinary lineup as rich and diverse as the sounds on stage.

Following the overwhelming response to the 2024 edition, which saw thousands relive the golden era of kwaito and dance to decades of house hits, Oskido will again focus on the nostalgic magic of yesteryear while bringing new school flair to the forefront.
Festival-goers can expect an immersive lifestyle experience complete with deliciously curated food zones, interactive installations, and show-stopping performances from some of the country’s most iconic artists, as well as some newer, young talent.
