Strictly Soul has confirmed the support acts for Masego’s Johannesburg show on 5th July at 4 Ways Farmers Market, Modderfontein.
Taking the stage before one of the most anticipated international live shows of the year are Lusanda, Babble Hume and Sishii three rising acts setting a new bar for where R&B overlaps with alternative and soulful expression, having spent the last year exciting audiences with fresh new classic songs.
“The support billing is always a curatorial decision for us,” says Strictly Soul founder Akio Kawahito. “Lusanda and Babble Hume are both doing something genuinely new with South African R&B.
Putting them on this stage sets the right tone for the soulful, expansive set we all expect Masego to deliver.”
Classical trained ballerina Lusanda’s viral conquests have led to high profile collaborations with Uncle Waffles and production credits from Grammy winning writers and producers including Charlotte Day Wilson. Expect song debut performances as she begins rolling out new music in 2026.
