On August 6, 2024, the Chiume family confirmed the passing of legendary actress, Connie Chiume at 72 years.
In a media statement released by the family, Connie passed on at Garden City Hospital with the causes of her death yet to be communicated.
Throughout the years, Connie starred in multiple hit TV series such as Mohlolohadi, Yizo Yizo, Zone14, Rhythm City, Housekeepers, Grassroots, Gomora, and the Marvel film Black Panther.
She won many awards for her long-running and successful acting career.
