Over the last decade a lot of black American musicians have been tracing their roots back to Africa thus we have seen many come to visit their African home countries. Big names such as Beyoncé and Kendrick Lamar have been embracing Africa in their music for way longer than the past decade.

In the same breathe we have had them embrace Africa, we have had a lot of American musicians selling out shows in Africa with fans singing their songs word for word in all these concerts. Our African artists too especially from South Africa and Nigeria have broke into the global market, ultimately America, with big names such as Tyla, Burna Boy, Uncle Waffles, Davido, Musa Keys, just to name a few having the power to also sell out shows in America.

Meek Mill Remarks On South Africa
Meek Mill who was once big in a lot of African countries, from streaming his music on the DSPs to high rotation on TV and radio asked a horrendous question about where South Africa listens to his music.
South Africa began engaging his post within seconds with Nigeria also siding with South Africa in addressing this misconception and idea that Africa is a jungle. Below are a few responses on X.
