Podcast and Chill host, MacG, has honored his promise to chillers of interviewing his mother when the podcast attains 1 million subscribers on YouTube. Chillers, fans of the podcast, have always wanted to meet MacG’s mother whom he speaks about on most episodes and sometimes even calls when they have questions for her.
In July 2023, the podcast finally breached the 1 million subscribers milestone and throughout the celebrations, the chillers kept asking when this special episode is coming. Doubts amongst the chillers were building up but on Thursday morning, just a few hours before the usual Thursday episode, Sol announced that the guest for Episode 500 is MacG’s mother.

- She got pregnant with MacG when she was 17 years old and wanted to abort him;
- MacG’s name “Macgyver” was chosen by his mom because she was the actor’s fan;
- MacG and his mom almost got shot dead by his mother’s ex who was a policeman;
