When asked by one of his fans on the EP’s countdown Instagram live, Demoe Rose described his debut EP as a giant step in his musical journey where he best showcased his capabilities and hunger to become the next biggest South African artist. He also mentioned that he feels like he finally found himself entirely in the Amapiano sound than any other sounds he has previously worked on such as hip hop, trap, and afrobeat.

The Burning Rose EP comprises 7 songs with features from Mfana Kah Gogo, Amanda Luv, and Hdee Rolex. Most of the songs were produced by the talented producer and artist, Andrex Ama who also mixed and mastered the whole project. Some of the songs were produced by amazing talent namely Freako, Taffy Da Don, and AB Spiritual.
