Wednesday, May 10, 2023, marked the day that the highest-grossing tour in all-time history as of 2023, the Renaissance World Tour, was kickstarted at Friends Arena in Stockholm, Sweden. In support of her 7th studio album, Renaissance, Beyoncé has broke many records with both the album and its tour.

The Rise of Beyoncé
Born on September 4, 1981, Beyonce is one of the biggest and most gross-selling musicians in the world and history! She began performing in singing and dancing competitions as a child at the age of 9 and rose to fame in the late 1990s as a member of the R&B girl group, Destiny’s Child.
Destiny’s Child’s hiatus in 2001 saw the release of Beyonce’s debut album Dangerously in Love in 2003 as a solo musician. After the official split of Destiny’s Child, she released her commercially successful solo albums B’Day in 2006, I Am… Sasha Fierce in 2008 and 4 in 2011.
In the late 2010s, Beyoncé’s artistry achieved widespread acclaim for releasing her sonically experimental visual albums titled Beyoncé in 2013 and Lemonade in 2016, which explored multiple societal themes such as infidelity, feminism, and womanism.
The Renaissance Album
In 2022 Beyoncé released her seventh studio album, Renaissance, which was later supported by a world tour in 2023, The Renaissance World Tour.

The Renaissance World Tour
The Renaissance World Tour is Beyoncé’s ninth tour which was announced on February 1, 2023, in support of her seventh studio album.
The tour run began on May 10, 2023, coming to an end on the 1st of October 2023 with a total of 56 shows projected to gross $2 billion US dollars, making it the highest-grossing tour in all-time history.
The Beyhive, fans of Beyonce, all over the world have sold out each and every leg of the Renassaince World Tour in their cities with the tour trending every single day on social media since it began in May 2023.

The Renaissance Blue Ivy Power
With an exceptional performance setlist, fascinating stage designs, and Beyonce’s stellar outfits, a key highlight for many who attended the tour has been Blue, Beyonce and Jay Z’s oldest child who has been a recurring performer alongside her mother, Beyonce on several shows.
Having struggled with stage frights on the early shows of the tour Blue is now a confident and strong performer, in most instances than less being the center of attention for the My Power performance, one of the songs in the Renaissance album and tour setlist.
