Halle Lynn Bailey (born March 27, 2000) also popularly known as Halle is an American award-winning singer, songwriter, and seasoned actress. She rose to fame as one half of the R&B musical duo ‘Chloe x Halle’ with her sister Chloe Bailey.
Chlöe and Halle are signed to Beyoncé’s entertainment company, Parkwood Entertainment. As a duo, Chloe x Halle, they have released two albums namely The Kids Are Alright (2018) and Ungodly Hour (2020), and have together earned five Grammy Award nominations.
Halle rose to fame with her sister as a duo Chloe x Halle releasing charting songs and high-end music videos. Halle’s sister, Chloe Bailey was the first to take on a solo route as a musician while Halle focused more on acting.

Halle As An Actress
As an actress, Halle Bailey has played a lead role in the television sitcom Grown-ish (2018–2022) as Skylar “Sky” Forster. In 2023, she had her first lead role in a film as Ariel in Disney’s musical fantasy film The Little Mermaid. Besides these two that have been the highlights of her acting career, she has played a lot of other roles including Tyler Perry’s House of Payne, Let It Shine, The Line and more
2023 has been a banner year for Bailey. In addition to starring in The Little Mermaid, which grossed more than $118 million during its opening weekend, Bailey is also set to star in another movie musical later this year: Blitz Bazawule’s The Color Purple, which is scheduled to hit theaters on Christmas Day.

Debut Single, Angel
Angel is Halle’s debut single as a solo artist, although she has made songs for The Little Mermaid. The single came along with a music video showing a collection of childhood videos, baby photos and recent performance footage.
